Y'know, the girl I love - Miki Makimura - she comes from a Christian family. It's not usual in Japan, but then again her father was a foreigner. Any time I came over to her place all they ate was vegetarian dishes, and they had the most ridiculously large picture of the Last Supper on the wall by their dining table.

I never got that. I never got religion at all really. All I ever wanted to do was focus on what I could do, not what a higher power could do for me. Maybe that's why when the demon consumed me, I could thwart it so easily - I had no faith to cling onto.
